1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using T-AI-LOR (“the Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

2. Description of Service

T-AI-LOR is an AI-powered resume tailoring platform. The Service analyzes your uploaded resume data and job descriptions, then uses artificial intelligence to generate tailored resume content optimized for applicant tracking systems (ATS). Features include document parsing, AI content generation, keyword analysis, and document formatting.

3. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party AI models (including Google Gemini) to generate and enhance resume content. You acknowledge and agree that:

AI output requires your review. Generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or phrasing that does not accurately reflect your experience. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before use.
No guarantee of accuracy. While we design our systems to produce faithful representations of your professional history, AI models can produce unexpected results. T-AI-LOR does not warrant that generated content will be error-free or completely accurate.
No employment guarantees. ATS compatibility scores, keyword match percentages, and other metrics provided by the Service are estimates based on algorithmic analysis. They do not guarantee interviews, callbacks, or employment outcomes.
You are responsible for truthfulness. Submitting a resume containing false or misleading information to employers is your responsibility. T-AI-LOR is not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content that you have approved and submitted.

4. User Accounts

To access the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address or third-party authentication (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscription and Billing

T-AI-LOR offers both free and paid access tiers. Paid subscriptions may begin with a trial period that requires a valid payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan will be billed automatically. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through your account settings, but no refunds will be provided for the current billing period. All payments are processed by Stripe and subject to their terms.

6. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to the personal data, resumes, job descriptions, and other documents you upload (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant T-AI-LOR a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit your content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

AI-generated output based on your User Content is provided to you for your use. T-AI-LOR does not claim ownership of the tailored resumes produced for you.

7. Data Processing and Third-Party Services

To provide the Service, your User Content is transmitted to third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini) for processing. By using the Service, you consent to this transmission. We select providers with appropriate data handling practices, but we are not responsible for their independent processing of data beyond our control. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to generate fraudulent credentials or qualifications you do not possess.
Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models, prompts, or algorithms used by the Service.
Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-access the Service beyond normal use.
Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Service output without authorization.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. USE OF THE SERVICE AND RELIANCE ON ITS OUTPUT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, T-AI-LOR AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, LOST PROFITS, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR FROM ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO T-AI-LOR IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless T-AI-LOR from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your submission of AI-generated content to employers or third parties; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request account deletion.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
